"It's important that all here get to Gaza. Most of the money collected is through zakat and we have a responsibility to see that this aid gets to Gaza. So the Government of the great University of Al Azhar is making it difficult for this to be carried out. Let me suggest how any national safety concern can be addressed. We all sail together to Al Arish and are escorted to Gaza. And after Gaza all of us leave directly for Cairo airport. If there's genuine goodwill on the other side I don't see how this cannot be accepted..."
