Lifelong friendships are being forged here, definite signs of that. Being given glimpses into each others' lives, families, beliefs, culture, lifestyle is a priviledge and honour. What an enriching experience this is proving to be for many, especially those on their first convoy.
Personally it's been invaluable and I can only hope that the remarkable people I'm with will serve to motivate me further. I'm being moved, touched, reduced to tears, angered, frustrated and many times just plain tickled funny. And can you imagine the gamut of emotions that will run wild when Insha Allah we finally make our way into Gaza?
