The day started rather slowly I must say. Leisurely morning with some threat of rain which didn't materialise. We were informed that there would be a meeting at 10am which allowed me a little nap right after breakfast. I was still tired out from yesterday's workload & a mild touch of food poisoning, which is making its rounds among the volunteers. And its been pretty much sunny but extremely windy.

It was only at 3pm that we started loading aid into vehicles & I must say the speed was faster than yesterday. But we stopped at 5pm for the press conference where we'd be informed if Egypt's responded to us at all. Sadly there's nothing forthcoming from the powers that be in Cairo. And our wait continues. The majority of the convoy members seem to still be on a high & show no signs of fatigue, save for a couple impatient ones.

At 6.30pm it was off to the final football game between Team VP & Team Palestine. The venue was a small football stadium with floodlights & all. The game was good & the final score was 2-2, most apt.

Tomorrow will be more loading & hopefully we'll be able to finish the entire lot. Only a few vehicles remain.
